I've dreamed about having my own clothing company for as long as I can remember - or as my mom would say, when I was about 1 and first started to have outfit opinions.

Dreaming about Etheria was my escape from reality, the place I would go in my mind to feel inspired and a sense of calm that I don't quite know how to articulate. But, there was never the right time, or enough time, or any of the other reasons that fear manifests. 

Somewhere in the chaos of having my daughter Ava in 2023, a switch flipped. Maybe it was the raging hormones, or desperation to feel like myself again in the first year, or the entirely new view of the world that comes along with becoming a parent - but something made me say "fuck it, I'm going to try and see if I can make this happen" - and here we are! 

It’s been a wild ride since the launch of Etheria in July - balancing a full time job, new motherhood and a new business venture is FAR from easy - some might say insane. But, little by little and with many lessons in patience (that I'm very much still learning), my little dream is starting to grow - and someday, when Ava tells me what she wants to be when she grows up, I’ll be able to tell her to go for it knowing that I took the leap myself.
